
"This business started when I was pregnant. I had strong cravings for kimchi but I didn’t like the taste of the store-bought kimchi I kept getting. Seeing as I had a lot of time on my hands while waiting for my baby to be born, I started learning how to make kimchi and realized huge batches every time. I decided to sell off what I couldn’t store so I started Kira Kimchi. My love for kimchi turned into an exploration into the Korean appetite, food trends, and it’s history. I sell mostly fermented side dishes and at times, main dishes."
